Review Research Day 02.11.2011
The 2. Fraunhofer CNT Research Day took place on the 2nd November 2011. Experts from leading companies and scientific staff representatives of our institute have presented exciting talks to the audience. We would like to thank all speakers and guest, espacially: Thomas Leitermann (Infineon), Amal Chabli (CEA-Leti), Nicolas Blasco (Air Liquide), Philippe Maillot (STMicroelectronics) and Suvi Haukka (ASM Microchemistry). See you next year!
Night of sciences on 1st July 2011
The 9th Night of Sciences took place on 1st July 2011. Research institutes and companies in and around Dresden invited a large audience to visit their premises and laboratories in order to take part in various presentations, lectures and experimental shows. Visitors of the Fraunhofer CNT booth had the chance to slip in clean room clothes, to examine microchips with a microscope or to test their knowledge by participating in a quiz.
Friday@Fraunhofer on the 24th June 2011
Interested students had the possibility to visit Fraunhofer CNT on the 24th June 2011. They got information about semiconductors, integrated circuits with dimensions below 100 nm, material characterization or innovative analytical and process methods. Dedicating new generations of scientists into the mysteries of natural science is one of the aims of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. There are 11 institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Dresden. Thus Dresden is the second largest location of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The Fraunhofer institutes in Dresden would like to invite students to take part in the project “Friday@Fraunhofer”.
